Maneath Mao – Project Director

Maneath was born in Cambodia and is a passionate project enthusiast dedicated to promoting diverse mindsets and inclusivity through research, events, and various initiatives within education systems. She firmly believes that education is a powerful tool for empowerment, especially for women, enabling them to defend themselves, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and access better opportunities for improved quality of life. With a background in international relations, she understands the vital connection between education and global awareness. She views education as a way to broaden perspectives and foster understanding, inspiring individuals to engage with important issues and influencing change.

Maneath has gained valuable experience through her professional journey, which includes internships and work with research think tanks, university projects, and organizations focused on social innovation and digital media in Cambodia. Through these roles, she has developed strong skills in research, professional writing, project management, and administrative tasks.

Her primary goal is to enhance educational systems in Cambodia, focusing on promoting inclusivity and diverse perspectives, particularly for women. She envisions a future where women have equal access to education, pursue their dreams, and give back to their communities. By collaborating with international organizations and NGOs, Maneath aspires to contribute to meaningful research and initiatives that empower women and foster a culture of continuous improvement in education. Guided by her motto, “Now or Never,” Maneath is motivated to seize opportunities and embrace new challenges. She believes that each day presents a chance to make a difference in the lives of others.
